bye bye summer vacation :'(
haha whoops! looks like i kind of abandoned my poor lonely blog for pretty much summer vacation in it's entirety. i do feel guilty, but it gave me a chance to do other stuff! so here i am...back and ready to write!
about fashion photos, and photos in general: i took a billion. but, well, let's not beat around the bush. i left my memory card on the table where we keep the computer and my little puppy decided to jump up and eat it. so, yes. my dog ate my memory card. so i'm temporarily using my old memory card from my old broken camera, which stores 70 pictures. i mean, that other one could store over 1000 pictures. so we have to wait until we find a new one of equal or greater value on sale...yeah, keep on dreaming. i know.
in other news, my little sister and i were just in my room collaging our back to school supplies with bits and pieces from my fashion magazines (vogue, teen vogue, nylon, vogue italia, vogue australia, seventeen, etc.). i'm not sure i like how mine came out...but i can't even post the dumb pictures on the computer because the old memory card that i mentioned earlier (the one that can hold only 70 pictures? yeah, that's the one.) is full and won't let me upload them onto the computer. so...yeah.

well, then.
just saw that my last post was last monday. 6 days ago. almost a week ago.
whoops!
so here we go:
got my hair cut yesterday...nothing special. looks pretty much the same, although with a shorter fringe and a healthier look (no more splitty ends! hurrah!). but, hey. beggars can't be choosers. wellll, i s'pose in this case, they can. but shhhhh...no-one needs to know that.
it occurred to me last night as i was trying to fall asleep that the summer is almost halfway over. it was such a quite disturbing revelation that i began to have a slight panic attack. not enough time left...must get in more time with friends...less time on computer...finish summer assignments...GAAAHHH!!!!!

Angela's Ashes by Frank McCourt. i started reading it this afternoon after i finished my other book (Away Laughing on a Fast Camel, the sixth book in the Georgia Nicolson series by Louise Rennison. fabulous series altogether. must go borrow the next one from lex!) and it is soooo sweet. i couldn't get too upset since i was at the beach with family and etc, but it was really upsetting and really funny. on the downside, the type is quite small and so are the margins, so it's going to take me a long while to finish it by September.
But as for September, i'm super di-duper excited for school to start. i can't wait to go back to school shopping!!!!!
as of right now, these are what i need to go get:
1. a pair of red heart shaped sunglasses (adorable! hot topic, maybe? any others?)
2. more skinny jeans (year round minus summer staple. unfortunately, all of my others are either too small or too short, so I'm left with one pair of suitable skinnies for Sept.)
3. a new bag (the best part!)
4. SCHOOL SUPPLIES!!!!! call me insane, but that is my all time favorite part about back-to-school shopping. i just love it. so so so so so so much!
well, that's all i can manage to think about so far.

errr
totally random, but i'm getting a haircut on Wednesday and i'm at a total loss as to what i should do with it. my hair is wavy, semi-thick, and varying shades of blonde. i totally love these two looks, but my mum says that they won't look very nice because they're not for hair types like mine :( personally, i think both would look great. i really want to go for the Miley-look, but i don't know...
maybe i'll just end up getting the usual "trim, long layers, angled, thick side swept bangs" because it looks good and it's, well, predictable. i mean, i don't try to be predictable, i just know what looks good!!!
on another note, who has read The Hunger Games?? BEST BOOK EVER (well, one of them anyway). one of my friends, Lexa, she just texted me saying that she finished the first one and practically died because of it's awesome-ness. i don't blame her! i'm not a huge sci-fi fan, but i absolutely adored it. other fabulous sci-fi books: The Uglies by Scott Westerfeld and The Host by Stephenie Meyer. if you have not read any of these books, DO IT NOW.
